The time I need to prepare an order for shipping. Orders are mailed out on Friday of each week. Orders received on a Friday will be mailed out the next Friday. If there is a postal holiday on a Friday, I will try to get items shipped out prior. During hurricane season, I might experience delivery delays, but that will be noted at the time of purchase.
Small artwork is shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping is included in the price unless indicated otherwise.
Larger and oversized pieces, or pieces that require special handling – will be priced based on size and destination and vary greatly. Please email for estimated shipping costs on those items.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
I take all credit cards via Stripe- you may see the invoice as Stripe on your Credit Card Statement.
Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final – please take the time to read all the details on each piece of artwork and to check colors on multiple screens, Mobile phones, tablets and computer, as screens can have a color variation. I try my best to take photos as close as possible to match on my computer screen to the actual painting. If you are in doubt about a color, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I try my best to represent the work,
Damaged/lost/theft of shipment
I am not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service. Nor for any damage incurred post-delivery. I work hard to package my artwork to arrive safely to you. Wax paintings require more packaging (I try to use environmentally safe cushioning as much as possible) and I cannot control the outside temperature it may be exposed to. I have shipped nationwide and have not had any issues.
Please remember I am not the post office, nor the delivery person and try to mark the package to handle with care.
But with all that, here is what I can offer if such an issue occurs-
Damaged painting – if your painting arrives damaged upon arrival- I kindly request that I am contacted within 2 days of receipt and provide a photo of damaged packaging and painting. Please remember many of my wax paintings have slight imperfections, etched areas, air bubbles, uneven surfaces, and other artistic techniques. If painting is repairable, I may have an artist near you make the repair. Each incident is handled differently based on what happened.
Not Delivered/Lost/Stolen – If your package is marked “Delivered” and it is not to be found, please check your confirmation email that address submitted was correct. Also check with areas around your house that the delivery person may have left it (back door, garage, neighbors door) If the address is correct and your package is believed to be lost or stolen, or if you missed the delivery, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately there isn’t anything I can do at my end, so I am unable to address a failed delivery or a theft issue directly. If a package is unable to be delivered and is returned to the studio, I will gladly reship it, but ask that you pay for the shipping.
Please make sure that you enter an address that you know there is no chance of a porch pirate.
